International Women’s Day 2026 – Empowering Girls in Mwanza
On 8th March 2026, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the Nudba Group of Toronto, Canada, donated reusable sanitary pads to over 850 female students at Mwanza Girls Secondary School in Mwanza, Tanzania.
These high-quality reusable pads are manufactured locally in Mwanza by FURSA Foundation and are fully approved by the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA).

To date, The Desk and Chair Foundation has distributed over 10,000 boxes, positively impacting girls’ education, health, and dignity.
We are grateful to the Nudba Group of Toronto for their continued support in eradicating period poverty, and to FURSA Foundation for providing education and awareness on menstrual health.
