Celebrating 50 years: Tanzania Independence Day – 80 Desks Handed Over

On Friday 9th December 2011, during the occasion of 50th anniversary of Independence of Tanzania, 80 three seater desks were handed over Kinamweli Primary school in Ngudu area in Kwimba district by BETA CHARITABLE TRUST. During the surprise visit done at this school, it was found out that 95% of the students were sitting on the floor. The photos enclosed are self-explanatory as some photos show the position of the school before desks were donated. The headmaster, the village chairman and all villagers thanked donors for their support and assistance to the school as the problem of desks has been permanently resolved now.
