Shallow well no 178 was handed over to villagers of Fumagira village that is in Misungwi District. This well is a very old well that was not functioning for a long time and needed heavy repairs before its water could be used for human consumption. Can Aid Africa sponsored the full repair costs and the rope pump was donated by Br Ansar Ali Hemraj. This well is now functioning very well and it will serve 300 people daily around that area. The community around the well was very grateful to donors as now the availability of clean water is now at their doorstep. There plenty of non-functioning very old wells that can be repaired and become functional and ease water problems in the area.
