TDCF reaches a Milestone

TDCF reaches a Milestone… Thank you all especially M V LATEST NEWS GROUP.

Wheel chair no 400 was handed over MZEE D who got both of his legs amputated due to diabetes and recently lost eyesight on both of his eyes due to cataract and diabetes.
After his amputation he has been totally house bound and has a big family of nine people to feed daily.
Some children are still schooling and the two eldest have no jobs.

As from now TDCF will help the family food from monthly family food relief program that goes to 50 families every month from funds collected.
Mr D will also attend eye clinic on Monday and see the specialist for possible cataract surgery to solve the eyesight issue.
He will also see the specialist for posssible prosthesis limbs to make him more mobile.

Musa Sudi a four year child suffering with severe celebral palsy

Musa Sudi a four-year child suffering with severe cerebral palsy and club feet was handed over a wheelchair no 399. He hails from Shinyanga region and after seeing our program on channel ten his mother came all the way to request for one as she could no more carry him on her back due increasing weight as he is growing. The family thanked full to the donors for the assistance of the wheelchair and prayed for more such assistance to others in need also
Through sadaqat,nazar and any alike hukook funds, the TDCF will continue assisting such to attend their normal clinics and also physiotherapy clinics

Miss Daines Juma Kuboja is discharged from hospital

Miss Daines Juma Kuboja has had surgery and is now discharged from the hospital. She will have to attend her weekly clinics and will continue staying in Mwanza for at least one year until she is completely stable. TDCF will continue helping her for her daily basic needs. We thank all donors for their help.

Sewing Machine Donated by TDCF to Muleba villagers, Kagera

Four sewing machines were today handed over by TDCF to Muleba villagers in Kagera region to open up a tailoring class in the village for ladies.

This tailoring classes will accommodate 40 women daily in four shifts of ten women and they will learn tailoring skills within six months and start earning and help bringing up their families.

We thank the donors for their gesture and this training will empower the Muleba villagers by teaching them how to sew and earn a living.

Two shallow well donated to two villages in Mwanza city

Today two shallow wells were handed over at two different villages in Usagagara area in the Mwanza city. The area has severe water scarcity hence these two wells handed over today will be of great assistance to the villagers as prior to these wells the villages had to walk long distances to fetch water as reported by the villagers themselves.

They thanked the donors for their donation to the villagers as now since the water is easily available they will now be able to participate in farming and other family issues like looking after the children and the elderly family members

Eye care awareness campaigns, free eye camps and cataract surgeries

Celebrating the White Cane Day, The Desk and Chair Foundation handed over several items to acting Mwanza Regional Commissioner Dr Phillis M Nyimbi for 100 cataract surgeries,56 white canes and 329 pairs of different prescription spectacles for free cataract surgeries and free spectacles for those will need one.

In creating awareness towards preventing eyes complications or diseases a one week free eye camp has been organized in Mwanza for all public at Furahisha grounds and cataract surgeries will be done free of charge at Seketoure referral hospital till 25/10/18

These items were jointly donated by TDCF,BCT,TBF,MEFA,NF.

The Regional commissioner was sincerely thankful for this timely assistance and gesture shown by all organizations.
