WELL NO. 859

Location: Mwamalembe Subvillage, Ng’hundya Village, Bungulwa Ward, Kwimba District – Mwanza Region, Tanzania
Daily Beneficiaries:
Families: 74
Individuals: 504

A Well is Not Just Water. It’s Life.

This well was made possible through the heartfelt generosity of a devoted donor, in partnership with World Federation Aid – the humanitarian and development arm of the World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities.

In areas like Kwimba District, the daily struggle for clean water is real. Without a nearby water source, women and children walk long distances—sometimes for hours-to fetch water from unsafe, open sources. This affects everything: health, education, dignity, and hope for a better future.

But with one well, everything changes.

▪︎A child goes back to school instead of walking miles.
▪︎A mother can spend more time caring for her family instead of searching for water.
▪︎A community regains its dignity, strength, and peace.

▪︎Clean water doesn’t just quench thirst. It heals. It protects. It empowers.

“Whoever gives water to a thirsty soul, Allah will give them a drink from Paradise.”
– Sacred Teaching (Hadith)

This well is one of four donated by the same kind-hearted benefactor in this district, showing just how much impact one person can make. It was officially handed over on 29th Dhul Hijjah 1446 A.H., marking a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Join This Sacred Mission. Give the Gift of Water.

In many rural areas across Tanzania and beyond, the need for wells is still urgent. Every drop counts – and every well saves lives.

You can be part of this ongoing change. Donate a well. Dedicate it in memory of a loved one. Or gather your community, school, or workplace to fund one together.

Let water be your legacy. Let hope flow.

In communities where clean and safe water is scarce, a single well can transform daily life: improving health, restoring dignity, reducing the burden on women and children who walk long distances for water, and opening doors to education, productivity, and peace.

Water is not just a necessity-it is a right. And in giving water, we give hope.

The well was officially handed over on 29th Dhul Hijjah 1446 A.H., a sacred day just before the Islamic New Year. In the spirit of renewal, intention, and unity, this well now serves as a flowing reminder of what’s possible when compassion meets action.

Join Us in Creating Impact

We invite you-individuals, families, institutions, and faith-based groups-to be part of this noble mission. Whether you give in memory of a loved one, as a spiritual offering, or simply as a gesture of goodwill, your contribution creates ripples that last for generations.

Contribute, dedicate, and change lives.
