Desk and chair foundation donated 348 desks
Today Monday 13/9/21 The Desk and chair foundation donated 348 desks to the District Commissioner of Nyamagana District Hon Amina Makilagi
3 desks were donated by a donor from Australia, ine byba donor from uk ,144 desks were donated by the family in the loving memeries of late Gulamhussein Bandali Damji one time a prominent resident of Mwanza and was also the manager of Kibara ginnery
And
200 desks were donated by the Andani Foundation one time leaving in Malampaka and Mwanza
According to recent reports ,country wide total 1,300,000 desks are needed ugently for primary and secondary government schools which provide free education
TDCF todate have donated 3000 desks and repaired 1000 oldones
The DC thanked the donors for their gesture of still remembering back home by donating so many desks which is now PRIORITY NO 1 need on education side
She requested other organisations also and individuals to come forward and donate desks
Todays donation of desks have benefitted seven schools one being a catholic church school in DODOMA CITY

Well no 573
On the ocassion of commemoration of 20th of SHOHDAYE KARBALLA today ,well no 573 was handed over to the villagers of Isela in Usagara ward in Misungwi district in Mwanza region
Due to severe shortage of clean water in the area according to the village leaders this well will serve about 1000 people on daily basis and the villagers have requested for few more wells in the area to serve effectively
This well was generously donated by Mubarak Mamdani in the loving memories of late Mohamedhussein Lalji Mamdani and Sakinabai Binte Karawalli

Well no 580 was handed over to sub village of Nyamabea in Ngāombe village in Misungwi district in Mwanza Region
This well was a birthday gift to the villagers from Naishah Kanji
The villagers were sincerely thankful to the donor and wished her A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY
This well will serve clean and safe water to about 350 people leaving near and around the well on daily basis

Well no 515 was handed over to villagers of LUBUGA B Village in Misungwi district
This well was one of the seven wells donated by late Mrs Parinbai Khalid (Nasser Virjee)in the loving memories of her late nearby family members
This well will benefit 75 families ie about 516 people on daily basis leaving around the well
The village leadership was thank full to donors for providing clean water and requested for more such assistance

Classroom built for āāCHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS āā
THE UHURU TORCH MARATHONE (MBIO ZA MWENGE WA UHURU) inaugurates a tshs 50m/- classroom built for āāCHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS āā on 6/7/21 , project built by THE DESK AND CHAIR FOUNDATION at Bulale Primary school *
The head of the Uhuru Torch Marathone Liutenant Josehine Paul Mwambashi inaugurated the classroom while passing through Bulale area where by many children with special needs could not go to school due to no availability of facilities like good classrooms
The Uhuru Torch marathone is one of the most important national events/ occasion and is done in the whole country and different projects are inaugurated at this time
This construction of classroom has been fully sponsored by an Australian based organisation named THE WELFARE AID INTERNATIONAL
It has facilities like 3 toilets,a bathroom, a kitchen ,a store and water supply with 3000 liters water reserve tank for constant water supply in kitchen and toilets

The classroom can accomodate 40 students and today first
day 37 students have registered
The authorities,school management and parents, all prayed and thanked the donors for their timely help

Installing Solar Lights Sets In Mud Bricks And Grass Roofed Huts
Today 8/6/2021 TDCF have resumed installing solar lights sets in mud bricks and grass roofed huts in the villages around Mwanza region
This exercise was temporarily suspended due to heavy rains and many inside village roads being not passable
Today we managed to install in 9 huts at NYANGUGE village in Magu district in Mwanza region
By end of June 2021 we will have installed almost 300 huts since we first started this project last year
The recipients benefit a lot from this small donation of about tshs 175,000/= for @ set
-They save on kerosene, about tshs 30,000/= every month
– No more inhaling of strong kerosene fumes
– No more fumes related ailments like coughing, red burning eyes
– No more smoke odour and no more heavy breathing environment or pollution
More fresh breathing air full time
– Better communication within the family
-mobile phones can be charged and generate income for the family
– More time for children to study at night hence uplifting tremendously their school performances and girls are now more secured
We sincerely thank all the donors for their contributions that has caused great positive impact on most deserving poor people’s lives in deep villages

Well no 556 was handed over to residents of TUSHIKAMANE WARD in Rukibe village in Morogoro District
200 families leaving near and around the wells will benefit on daily basis from the wells
Morogoro District is one area that has severe water problems especially during the drought period which has just started
This well has been donated by CITY PRINTERS OF DARESSALAAM in loving memories of people listed on the plaque
