Well no 726 was handed over to Lwagati villagers in Kemondo ward in Bukoba district in Kagera region today 13/4/2024
This water well will serve 34 families living around the well i.e about 340 people on daily basis
This well was donated in the loving memories of late Zahid Dewji
May rest his soul in peace

20 years celebrations of TDCF

TDCF celebrated 20 years of helping and assisting the people with greatest need in Tanzania. The celebration were attended by local government ministers, various religious ministers, health professionals, donors and also people whose lives have been touched by TDCF.

TDCF at the ceremony, donated wheelchairs, tricycles and sewing machines to the local hospitals and needy people.

Operated for cataract on one Eye

Mzee Matiku came all the way from Tarime district in Mara region completely blind with cataradt on both his eyes
He was immediately referred to Bugando referal hospital and admitted for two day where he was sucessfully operated for cataract on one eye

Upon his discharged from the hospiital he came back to say ASANTE SANA to the donor as now he can see nicely from his operated eye

Bugando hospital is providing spaecial highly sunbsidised rates for treatment to TDCF and listening the clip from

Well No 663

The family of late Mulla Nanji of Nairobi Kenya have recently generously donated a deep water well at ALMUSTAFA MADRASSA IN BUNGU B VILLAGE , IN BUNGU WARD IN KIBITI DISTRICT IN PWANI REGION

This well that is 85 meters deep will serve all water needs of the Madrassa and also supply the whole neighbourhood water free of charge as seen in the clips and photos enclosed

This is a predominant shia ithna ashery madrassa under supervission of Saiyed Aarifali Naqvi one time a resident aalim of Mwanza jamaat and chief Mudir of BMMT hauza of Tanga

The digging of this water well no 663 was done by THE DESK AND CHAIR FOUNDATION a registered charity in UK and an international NGO IN TANZANIA

TDCF deals in assisting the needs of public in more than fourty different projects and makes life easy for the unfortunate people leaving around us

The recipient population of Bungu village have sincerely thanked the donors for providing this need and a right of life

Sewing Machines

The Desk And Chair foundation today on 2/11/22 donated 8 sewing machines to deserving cases for them to enable them to earn daily bread for their families

According to some recipients one sewing machine can earn tshs 15000/- average per day which can easily feed a family of six people and also remain with some savings

One brand new normal sewing machine costs tshs 250,000/- only and can be a big life support to poor family

Well No 633

Today on 6th of Muharram 1444 (5/8/22) Shallow well no 633 was handed over to the management of JAMAA AL SUMMRI MOSQUE on Majengo street in Uyovu ward in Bukombe District in Geita region

The mosque has about 490 active members and now have water at their doorstep

The well has been donated by ShabbirJIVRAJ,Naila JIVRAJ and Noorbanubai H Ahmad in loving memories of late members of their families as mentioned on the plaque in coordination with Nudba Group of Toronto Canada

The well will benefit all members attending at mosque plus all neighborhood of the area on daily basis

The recipients thanked the donors and prayed for their well being Their messages in the interviews are self explanatory

well no 631 was handed over to the village leadership

This well has been donated by Ali Syed son of Syed RIAZ and Shamim in the loving memories of marhumins listed on the plaque

This well has been donated in coordination with efforts of Nudba group of Toronto Canada

This well will serve about 680 people on daily basis ie 88 families leaving around and nearby the well
