he Desk and Chair Foundation is pleased to announce the successful completion and handover of Well No. 902 located in Kati Subvillage, Isunura Village, Mawindi Ward, Mbarali District, Mbeya Region, Tanzania. The well was officially handed over to the community on 6 April 2026.
This water project will significantly improve daily life in the community by providing reliable access to clean and safe water.
The well is expected to benefit 110 families and approximately 749 people every day, reducing the distance and time previously spent searching for water and improving health, sanitation, and overall community well-being.
Access to clean water plays a vital role in preventing waterborne diseases, supporting household activities, and enabling children-especially girls-to spend more time in school rather than walking long distances to collect water.
This well has been generously donated with love by *David Franca Myers, Guy , and Stephanie Cavallini.
Their kindness and commitment to supporting communities in need have made a lasting impact on the lives of the people of Isunura.
