Alhamdullilah today we have managed to install the third village solar light that was donated as sadaqat il jaaria by Qureshi family
This family is one of the three families that benefitted today of our village mud/grass huts solar lighting project
The family will now save on kerosene, torch batteries or buying of smaller portable solar lights available in the streets and have a very short life
Secondly the family will no more be effected from poisonous fumes from previous kerosene lamps and no more fumes or kerosene smoke related diseases
Thirdly most important is the school children will now be able to do their extra studies and school lessons at night and hence perform better in their studies
The young girls will be more safe as they will be indoors most of time and due to better communication within family due to better lighting , the family bonding and love amongst within will be more strong
The approximate life of the solar set is three years after which the battery needs to be replaced
