TDCF Sponsors Football Tournament and Health Screening in Mwanza

On 20th February 2026, The Desk and Chair Foundation (TDCF) sponsored and officially handed over football tournament equipment to TAMSA at Bugando Medical Centre, Mwanza Region.

Items Donated:

Five team jerseys

Two footballs

One winner’s trophy

60 cartons of drinking water

A first aid kit

Cash of TZS 400,000 for field fees and referee payments

In addition, TDCF recently organized a free health screening in partnership with TAMSA at Furahisha grounds, providing services to over 400 community members at no cost.

The Chairperson of TAMSA Mwanza expressed sincere gratitude to TDCF, noting that the support promotes regular health monitoring and encourages physical activity, helping prevent non-communicable diseases.

The total value of both initiatives – the football tournament sponsorship and the free health screening -was TZS 4.4 million.
