Marhum Roshanali Gulamhussein Rahemtulla Hansraj
This well stands as a profound Sadaqah Jariyah—a continuous charity whose rewards endure across generations. In the tradition of Islam, and especially within Shia theology, such acts are a living testament to the Qur’anic command:

“Indeed, those who give in charity, men and women, and lend to Allah a good loan—it will be multiplied for them, and theirs will be a noble reward.” (Qur’an 57:18)

In the footsteps of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them), whose lives embodied mercy, service, and justice, this water project reminds us that even after death, one’s compassion can flow through the veins of a community—nurturing life, dignity, and hope.

In Shia Islam, charity is not merely a social obligation; it is a spiritual investment. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) is reported to have said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim)
This well fulfills the highest standards of continuing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah)—bringing not only water but also a renewal of faith, gratitude, and community resilience.

Moreover, this intervention directly aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), ensuring that no one is left behind in access to a basic human right. Clean water is a foundation for education, health, gender equity, and economic empowerment.

A Message of Gratitude

We extend our deepest thanks and heartfelt prayers to the family, descendants, and well-wishers of Marhum Roshanali Gulamhussein Rahemtulla Hansraj. Your generous contribution does not merely quench physical thirst—it uplifts souls, reinforces dignity, and echoes a legacy of divine mercy.

As Imam Ali (a.s.) profoundly stated:

“People are either your brothers in faith or your equals in humanity.”
This well honors both.
May Allah (swt) accept this offering, elevate the soul of the Marhum, and grant him eternal proximity to His mercy.
