50 families leaving in the grass and mud walls house have today benefited from installation of solar lights replacing the old version kerosene lamp (KOROBOI) battery torch, or mobile phone toech
Our second phase of VILLAGE GRASS HUTS SOLAR LIGHT PROJECT will benefit 200 families in different villages in the lake zone for now
We thank the following donors for the fifty huts solar sets in the villages of Geita district

4) Mr Nisar kermali 10solar huts.
5) Ms. Shamim Hansraj 3 solar huts.
6) Family of late Gulamhussein Bandali Damji (G B DAMJI).

Few photos attached,letter from District commissioner of Geita District and Majira megezine cutting is self explanatory as far as impact on villagers life is concerned.
The following are few benefits the recipient families will enjoy from today:
i) no more kerosene fumes inhaling.
ii) no more coughing or eyes irritation.
iii) no more fire risk.
iv) children to be able to study at night for better school performance.
v) Save money on kerosene.
vi) young girls more safe after evenings as they will now be able to study at home.
vii) Generate a small income in mobile phone charging.
viii) more light more comfort and no more risk of snake bites or any insects in the dark.
ix) MORE LIGHT MORE LOVE AND PEACE IN THE FAMILY.
