Mr. M E( age 13 years) was today handed over wheelchair number 411.

He hails from Makojo village in Mara region. He has Hydrocephalus and spina bifida, serious illness causing difficulty in mobility. Up to now, his mum used to carry him everywhere. The child and the mother were very thankful to the donors for the assistance of the wheelchair.

TDCF are installing solar panels in villages to help the poor. These solar panels will reduce the costs of buying kerosene, and reduce the harmful effects of smoke. The main benefit is for children to study in evening and night and hopefully with education, they can come out of poverty. The Desk and Chair foundation handed over to three deserving families ten goats

The Desk and Chair foundation today handed over to three deserving families ten goats each as a microfinance project. These families hail from Mkuyuni,Kiseke and kirumba areas respectively. To date, TDCF have managed to provide 24 such families, goats rearing projects in different villages in the lake zone which has brought significant positive difference in the day to day lives of their families. We thank all the well-wishers and donors for the support they give which has become a great relief to these less privileged families. May the almighty repay them abundantly here and hereafter.

A solar lamp was installed

This solar lamp was installed in this hut of a widow who has ten children. Her husband passed away recently living behind this hut of two rooms in which eleven people are sleeping on the floor. This solar was donated in the loving memories of late HIRJI BANDALI of Mwanza. From our appeal of solar lighting campaign, we managed to get 31 sets and installation have started since yesterday in village huts who use kerosene lamps or small solar lamps.

With donors financial help Mr SA can walk properly now

We reference to our recent medical appeals one of the appeals was of Mr. SA who was born deformity of his legs. With donors financial help today we managed to hand over both prosthetic limbs and now he can walk properly and does not anymore need to be carried on back of his mother. They thanked the donors for the financial help that made Steven be normal like any other child and now he will be able to return back to school walking like any other child. Mrs MARIAM Hashim a widow was handed over a tricycle at her home in Kiseke village

Mrs. MARIAM Hashim a widow was handed over a tricycle at her home in Kiseke village. Since her legs were paralysed she has not been able to attend any bereaved families nor attend any village public meeting With the assistance of a tricycle she now will be able go around freely and involve herself more frequently in village social activities.

This tricycle was donated by bikedepot company of CANADA 🇨🇦. She thanked the donor for this gesture and assured that she will maintain it so that it serves her longer period

Wheel chair no 409 ,the 13th wheel chair donated by M V LATEST NEWS group was handed over to 15 year old Sweetbert Kariri who is completely phisically challenge.

Machale being completely treated and now leading a normal life

Today young Machale came to TDCF office with his mother all the way from Serengeti to say Asante sana after being completely treated and now leading a normal life. Machale was born with his intestine outside the stomach. The full treatment took a very long time but at last, now he is completely normal and will now be able to join a school with other children in his village. The sincere thanks go to the donors,FKT,NITETEE FOUNDATION, BMC AND MUHIMBILI HOSPITAL for their tireless efforts to treat successfully this very complicated case.
