On the great occasion of the marriage of their children today in Canada the families have remembered the thirties of Karbala and donated a well no 416 for poor villagers of Chole Village in Idetemya Ward in Misungwi District. The village has about 430 families. They are not able to fetch water from the lake due to alligator and bilharzia threat.
With this well the villagers will safe May the almighty bless and protect the newly wed couple and also bless their families for an excellent thought of remembering the less privileged during this happy family occasions. The villagers were sincerely thankful to the donors for the support. This shallow well was coordinated through the women’s group of DUA E NUDBA OF TORONTO CANADA.

May the almighty reward and protect the leaders of this group here and hereafter Insha’ALLAH.

WORLD BLOOD DONORS DAY 2019

On the  14/6/19, the  WORLD BLOOD DONORS DAY ,The Desk And Chair Foundation was awarded certificate of appreciation by Hon Minister for Health MS.Ummy Mwalimu.
The celebrations to honour the blood donors of the country was held at National level in Mwanza City at Furahisha open grounds.

More than 6000 units were collected in the Lake Zone at 10 different camps.

The Hon minister also inaugurated four very modern blood testing machines and the opening was witnessed by the representative from World Health Organization.  In  her report she mentioned that these machines are only in two places in whole of Africa.
One is in South Africa and second one in Tanzania and it has huge capacity to test the blood for four different  diseases and groupings of the blood before transfusion is done to a patient.
The minister thanked The Desk And Chair Foundation for its continued support to the lake zone blood bank which is highly appreciated by the government and as recognition,  she handed over the certificate of appreciation signed by herself as the Minister incharge.

The Desk And Chair Foundation,  as usual had donated refreshments for 2000 donors, 100 chairs,300 t shirts with mission statement slogan printed in Kiswahili and English Languages,500 leaflets in Kiswahili language for creating awareness amongst village public to come forward to donate blood and save lives of  fellow Tanzanians.

We thank all donors and well wishers for their support in our humaniterrean projects.

Tricycle 428 has been donated by the Bikedepot.com to Mr MMK

On today’s great occasion, Mr MMK was handed over with a tricycle to make his mobility more smooth and comfortable.
He is a victim of polio and depends on donation from well wishers.

Mr WJK (22) a form V student, was today handed over with a refurbished laptop

Mr WJK (22) a form V student, was today handed over with a refurbished laptop as requested by our regional authorities.

Due to his disability. He was not able to write class subjects notes hence requested a Laptop.

Laptops are now a basic necessity for high school students. Up to know, TDCF have provided such assistance to more than fifty students to assist smooth studies to our children in high schools and universities.

Please help TDCF TO help these future lawyers and medics.

MR JO was donated a tricycle by Bikedepot.com

MR JO is a 78 years old from Rorya district. He came all the way to request for a tricycle so that he could attend Church prayers.One of his son is a Pastor at the church and all were very happy for this gift from the Heaven.

Mr BM, a polio victim was today handed over a tricycle to make his life easy and more comfortable. He is a petty trader and deals in buying and selling of fish  which has a very good market in the Lake zone. The tricycle assisted to him will make his earnings grow more as he will now be able to go around get more customers. Recently the bikedepot.com company of Canada  have donated ten tricycles for assisting the physically challenged people.

All recipients were very thankful and prayed for the well-being of the donors and their families.

Shallow well no 395 was today handed over to villagers of Machazo village in Simbo Ward in Kigoma district.

Shallow well no 395 was today handed over to villagers of Machazo village in Simbo Ward in Kigoma district.

About 120 families (600 people ) and a local mosque nearby the well will benefit from this well on daily basis. This well which has plenty of water was handed over in the loving memories of late Mrs Zainabbai Hussain Abdulrasul Mehrali Dewji.

The villagers were sincerely thankful to the donors for assistance of this well that was desperately needed and prayed for the Marhuma to rest in eternal peace.
