Shallow well no 415

Shallow well no 415 was handed ove today Wednesday 21/8/19 to the villagers of Sanga village (MTONI ‘A’ SUB VILLAGE) in Busega District in new Simiyu Region.

This sub village has about 121 families and total population of about 600 people that will benefit directly from this well.

Prior to this well the villagers had to walk long distances to fetch clean and safe water or use the traditional water sources which is many times not very safe. The village leadership thanked the donors for their timely assistance as now Is the acute drought period whereby clean water is very scarce in the villages. This well was donated by the family in the loving memories of late Muslim Gulamhussein Abdallah

May the Almighty rest the departed soul amongst HIS chosen ones and in eternal peace.

The Desk and Chair Foundation have handed over eight high class outpatient toilets

The Desk and Chair Foundation have handed over eight high-class outpatient toilets to the Mwanza Regional Referral Seketoure hospital.

This first phase of eight toilets were handed over to the medical doctor in charge. These were
Fully tiled with 5000 liters of water reserve tank, store with one-year utility supply, hand washing sinks and dust bins with all necessary supplies.

The hospital had only four toilets and one uriner which was not enough of the present influx of 500 patients every day.

The construction of these eight toilets took only four weeks to complete.

The second phase will comprise of 12 more totaling to 20 toilets.
One such toilet is connected to normal sewerage costs tshs 2.5m/- and if connected to a septic tank costs tshs 3m/- TZ shillings.

These toilets were funded by WELFARE AID INTERNATIONAL OF AUSTRALIA.
The recipients all thanked the donors for their timely assistance.

Shallow well no 412 was handed over to sub villagers of Ipanga in Nguyen village in Misungwi District in Mwanza city.
This village that had severe water shortage will now benefit from this well donated by MS AHL BAIT of Hamdan group.
The village has about 1200 families and a population of about 4800 people.
The villagers were very thankful to the donors and have requested for few more such wells for more people to benefit.

Shallow well no 413 was handed over today in Friday 9/8/19 to sub villagers of Miami in Choke village in Misungwi District in Mwanza city.

This village that had severe water shortage will now benefit from this well donated by MS AHMAD ALI ALMARHOON of Hamdan group.

The village has about 94 families and a population of about 600 people.
The villagers were very thankful to the donors and have requested for few more such wells for more people to benefit.

Shallow well no 396

Shallow well no 396 was handed over to the villagers of Sanga in Busega District in new Simiyu region on Monday 5/8/19.

The well will serve about 250 families that live in the neighborhood of this well. Average it will serve the population of 1250 people on daily basis.

The well has been donated by the family in the loving memories of of Late Alhajj Ramzanali And his wife late Sikinabai Ramzanali Sumar.

Both and their families were one time resident of Mwanza and Alhajj Ramzanali bhai was a our Madressa teacher in Mwanza Jamaat.

If we today are able to say our daily prayers,read Quran and duas it is thanks to Late Ramzanali bhai for his tireless efforts in the madressa.

Shallow well no 398 was handed over today 15/7/19 to the villagers of Ngassamo village. The village has 155 families that will use the well for their water needs on daily basis.
The villagers were sincerely thank full to the donors and assured that they will look after well so that other donors can also donate in the cause. The well was donated by the family in the name Mr Abdul Sabur and Mrs Fizza Sabur. We convey our sincere appreciation and prayers to all our donors and well wishers.

Upon receiving a wheelchair all his family was overwhelmed with happiness as his life will change for better over night as doctors have advised him to come and move around in the sunlight and get fresh air.

They requested more wells in the village going to fetch water from the nearby lake is risky due to Crocodile threat. This well will benefit nearly all 400 families on a daily basis.
