The Desk and Chair Foundation donates 20 dust bins to Nsumba Secondary School.

It was around this time and this day ,1381 years back Imam Hussein A S and his Companions were martyred by Yazid and his followers and were denied access to drinking of water including infants for more than three days
In order to commemorate this tragic event ,THE HUSSEIN WATER WELL FOUNDATION OF SWEDEN have generously donated a water well No 491 for IGOKELO VILLAGE IN KWIMBA DISTRICT IN MWANZA REGION

This well has been handed over today SUNDAY on the day of ASHURA 10th MUHARRAM 1442
ie 30/8/2020

About 320 families will benefit from this well and it is worth listening to the interviews of the villagers
May the Almighty accept this charity in remembering all the martyres of tragic event of KARBALA and repay the donors abundantly here and here after

The Desk and Chair Foundation today responded to Ministry for Healths five days BLOOD DONATION DRIVE which is intended to save lives of EXPECTANT MOTHERS by donating following items
1)600 sets of refreshments for 600 blood donors
ie water,soda and biscuits

2) 850 pcs 3 quire counter books for rememberance gift to school children who are 80% blood donors in the country

3)800 writing pen with a blood donation awareness creating message engraved on the pen for school children

4)235 birth delivery pack for expectant mothers to be gifted for free to expecting mothers

Out of which 113 delivery packs were donared by ladies group of ‘’HUSSEIN INSPIRES’’ of K S I M C OF MWANZA

5)500 educational leaflets in kiswahili language to be distributed in remote areas

In the lake zone we are expecting to collect 2000 units of blood in next five days that will help to save lives of delivering mothers as the slogan says

‘’SAFE BLOOD IS LIFE OF MOTHER’’

The regional health department authority leaders thanked all the donors for responding to this programme

Shallow well no 490 was handed over to Bugembe villagers and matogolo sub village in Kwimba district that was donated in the loving memories of late MS MARGARET ROSE HERMON

120 families of the village will benefit from this well
ie about 650 people on daily basis

The villagers were thankfull to the donors for their timely assistance

Well no 486 handed over today at Nyanguge area in school compound where by the children were going long distances to fetch water and now after rehabilitating the well the clean water is available on their door step now and the nearby neighborhood villagers will also benefit from the well
Since the well has plenty of water,almost 1000 people will benefit from the well
