Handed over touch free hand washing machines and tank to Nyamagana Primary School

While preparations are in full swing to open all schools in Tanzania on 29/6/20 after almost three months of schools closure due to COVID 19 epidemic The Desk And Chair Foundation are continuing their efforts to supply items needed to protect the citizens from this deadly virus.

Today the Nyamagana Primary School leadership was handed over with two touch free hand washing machines with 100 liters tank for 800+ students and two 20 liters hand washing buckets for teachers.

Todate this school has benefited with a shallow well ,desks,toilets for students and teachers and many such educational support.
The school provides primary education for free as per the Governments policy.

The leadership of the school thanked T D C F for tireless efforts in supporting to solve education challenges

Todate TDCF have distributed such such 20 liters 200 buckets and 30 pcs of 100 liters tanks complete with stands in different public places

Classroom for special needs children at Nyakato Primary school constructed

TDCFĀ  Constructs Classroom for special needs children at Nyakato Primary school. This is nearing completion and will be handed over soon.

The classroom has two toilets one bathroom and a kitchen to serve about sixty children.

Tricycle no 499 handed over to Ms BM of Kishili ward

Wheel chair no 499 has been handed over to Ms BM of Kishili ward of Nyamagana district.

This wheel chair was donated by the family in the loving memories of late Gulamhussein Bandali Damji (G B)a prominent and a resident of Mwanza City.
The recipient being a Christian of Sabath faith, thanked and prayed for the donors as now she will be able to attend the church prayers in time and more frequently by owning her own wheelchair. Previously she had to hire wheelchair for 5000 shillings per day.

We pray to Almighty for donors to repay them abundantly here and here after and to rest the departed souls in peace and in proximity of HIS chosen ones ia

Ms ZS got a severe stroke and was paralysed.

The Lions Club of Mwanza approached us requesting a wheelchair for her.
Wheelchair no 497 was handed over to her to make her life more comfortable.

This wheel chair was donated by the family in the loving memories of late Gulamhussein Bandali Damji (G B) one time a prominent personality and resident of Mwanza.

Shallow well no 390 was handed over to Mabundi sub village in Mgude village In Ngerengere Ward in Morogoro District
in Morogoro region

This sub village has about 47 families leaving in the neighborhood of the well.

About 208 residents will use the clean well water on daily basis and prior to this well the villagers had to walk long distances to neighboring village for clean water.

The village leadership thanked the donors for their timely assistance This well was donated in the loving memories of Imam Hussein A S by an anonymous donor from BIRMINGHAM in United Kingdom šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§.

Deep well no.346 handed over to the villagers of NAKATUBA

Deep well (60 meters deep)was rehabilitated and handed over to the villagers of NAKATUBA VILLAGE IN KIBARA MUNICIPALITY IN MARA RAGION

This well is serving 200 families surrounding the well and was not working since last 2 years

The well has now been rehabilitated and will serve clean and safe water to 200 families from yesterday

The deep well brand new pump has been donated by MS SHAIMOND DIESEL COMPANY and other rehabilitation expenses were funded by WOMEN’S GROUP OF DUA E NUDBA OF TORONTO CANADA
The villagers have sincerely thanked the donors for their timely assistance as since the breaking down of the well clean water was a big challenge for the villagers of the area
