Going towards marking of International women’ s day on 8/3/22
The Desk and Chair Foundation have donated refreshments (SABIL)for 500 donors at Lake zone Blood bank in Mwanza and another 500 refreshment for other blood donating centers for out reach programmes in the villages
From today 1/3/22 blood donation camps will arranged in different areas and education on the whole exercise will ne provided to public
Recently the central zone blood bank also received a folding tent from TDCF that will be used in outreach programmes to collect blood
The initial target is to collect 1000 units of blood and one unit of blood can save lives of 3 people
Todate with TDCF’s support NBTU have managed to collect more than 12000 units of blood saving many lives in the hospitals
We thank the donors andwell wishers for their support always
