On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Nudba Group, a remarkable milestone was marked not just with celebration, but with an enduring act of compassion. On 24th May 2025, Well No. 800 was officially handed over to the community of Uzunguni subvillage, Isunura village, Mawindi ward, Mbarali District, Mbeya Region.
This well stands as a tribute for the thawab (eternal reward) of Sheikh Nabil Ahmed Awan, a respected figure remembered with deep reverence. It is a heartfelt gift from The Desk and Chair Foundation in collaboration with the Nudba Group, dedicated to bringing lasting impact and barakah (blessings) to hundreds of lives daily.

This well is more than a water source—it is a symbol of legacy, love, and service to humanity. Clean and safe water is a basic right, and through this generous act, entire families in this rural area now have daily access to this vital resource. It eases the burdens of women and children who often walk long distances to fetch water and contributes to better health, sanitation, and economic productivity.
As we celebrate two decades of the Nudba Group’s spiritual service, this project reflects the values they uphold—service to community, remembrance of the righteous, and dedication to humanity. May this sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) bring continuous blessings to Sheikh Nabil Ahmed Awan and all involved in making this gift possible.
May Allah (SWT) accept this noble deed and inspire others to follow in their footsteps for a more compassionate and just world.
