A GIFT OF LIFE AND LOVE IN MOROGORO

A GIFT OF LIFE AND LOVE IN MOROGORO

In the heart of Tushikamane Street, Lukobe Ward, Morogoro DC, a vital source of life has been restored — Well No. 807. This project is more than just a rehabilitation of infrastructure; it is a profound act of love and remembrance.

Thanks to the generous contribution made in loving memory of Ambareen Zainab Kanani and Imaan Fatema Kanani, and in coordination with the Nudba Group of Toronto, this well now provides clean, accessible water to the local community.

On a daily basis, 44 families totaling approximately 209 individuals benefit directly from this well. The ripple effect of such access goes far beyond quenching thirst. It means better hygiene, improved health, and greater dignity, especially for women, children, and elders who bear the burden of water collection in many Tanzanian communities.

This initiative not only embodies the values of compassion and community support, but it also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)** particularly Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation for All. Clean water is a basic human right, and this well stands as a beacon of hope and a symbol of global solidarity.

As we remember Ambareen Zainab Kanani and Imaan Fatema Kanani, their legacy now lives on in every drop of water that flows from Well No. 807 bringing life, health, and unity to the people of Morogoro.
