On 26th February, the NGO Member of Parliament, Magreth Baraka Ezekiel, accompanied by representatives from Baraka Organisation, paid a courtesy visit to The Desk and Chair Foundation.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about the foundation’s ongoing community development initiatives and to strengthen collaboration between civil society organizations working to improve the lives of vulnerable communities.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to several key programs implemented by The Desk and Chair Foundation, including education support for students, construction of wells to provide clean water in rural communities, medical assistance, empowerment programs for youth and women, and support for people with disabilities.
The delegation highly appreciated the commitment and impact of the foundation in serving communities and improving the welfare of disadvantaged groups. The visit also created an opportunity for meaningful discussions on how NGOs and stakeholders can continue working together to advance community development and social welfare.
