WELL NO 854 – A Source of Mercy and Blessing

27 families benefit on a daily basis
158 individuals now have access to clean, safe water

This well was lovingly donated through the Islamic Humanitarian Service as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah (صدقة جارية) -a continuous charity that benefits the living and rewards the souls of the departed.

This well stands as a sacred legacy, a flowing mercy to the people of Kati Subvillage and a perpetual light for the souls of the departed. Each drop of water is a du’a in action, a witness to the power of compassion and the enduring beauty of giving.

May Allah (SWT) accept this noble offering, illuminate the graves of the departed with His Noor, and elevate their ranks in Jannah al-Firdaws.
May the community drink from this well in peace, and may its benefits multiply like the drops that quench their thirst.

“And whatever you spend in charity, Allah knows it well.”

Date of Handover: 21st July 2025 (Shia Calendar: 14th Muharram 1447 AH)
This well is one of ten handed over in a ceremony devoted to faith, service, and remembrance.
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

Innamā nuṭ‘imukum li-wajhi-llāh, lā nurīdu minkum jazā’an wa lā shukūrā.

“We feed you for the sake of Allah alone – seeking neither reward nor thanks from you.”- Surah Al-Insan, 76:9
