A GIFT OF LIFE IN LOVING MEMORY

A GIFT OF LIFE IN LOVING MEMORY

We are humbled to announce the successful rehabilitation of Well No. 802, located on Majengo Street, Lukobe Ward, Morogoro District Council, Morogoro Region. This well now serves 38 families and provides clean, life-sustaining water to approximately 190 people every day.
This life-giving project has been lovingly donated in memory of Ambareen Zainab Kanani and Imaan Fatema Kanani, in coordination with the Nudba Group of Toronto. Their legacy continues to flow through every drop of water that quenches thirst, nourishes health, and brings ease to the community.
THE KARBALA CONNECTION: WATER AS A SYMBOL OF COMPASSION
The donation of this well carries profound spiritual significance. In the plains of Karbala, Imam Hussain (a.s.), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), was denied access to water for himself and his family for several days before his martyrdom. Despite their suffering, Imam Hussain and his companions remained steadfast in their faith, and his sacrifice became a timeless lesson in justice, courage, and humanity.

By rehabilitating this well in memory of loved ones, the donors have revived the spirit of Karbala — turning the memory of thirst into a legacy of relief. Just as Hazrat Abbas (a.s.) braved enemy lines in search of water for the children, today this well stands as a modern-day tribute to that sacrifice — providing ease where once there was hardship.

A LASTING IMPACT
Access to clean water transforms lives. It reduces the burden on women and children who often walk long distances to fetch water, improves hygiene and health, and uplifts the entire community. This well will not only serve today’s families but also generations to come ** a true sadaqah jariyah (continuous charity).

We thank the Kanani family and Nudba Group of Toronto for their heartfelt generosity and vision. May Ambareen Zainab Kanani and Imaan Fatema Kanani be blessed abundantly in the hereafter, and may their memory inspire continued acts of compassion.
