In Celebration of ARAFA Day and Eid al-Adha, TDCF Donates Emergency and Support Equipment in Nyamagana
With joy and respect in observance of ARAFA Day and the celebration of Eid al-Adha, The Desk and Chair Foundation (TDCF) proudly handed over a variety of support and emergency equipment to Hon. Bhiku Kotecha, the Councilor of Nyamagana Ward and Deputy Mayor of Mwanza City.
The donated items are intended for use during both joyful community events and times of emergency within the neighborhoods of Capripoint, Hesawa, and the Water Department.
The donated items included:
1. 6 Torches
2. 4 Hoes (Sururu)
3. 2 water drums
4. 6 Hand Hoes (Jembe)
5. 6 Tarpaulins
6. 12 Whistles
7. 10 Handles (Mipini)
8. 2 Speakers
9. 6 Crowbars (Koleo)
Hon. Bhiku Kotecha expressed his sincere gratitude to TDCF, assuring that the donation—valued at over TZS 600,000—will be delivered to the intended beneficiaries on Eid al-Adha. He emphasized that the donation came at the perfect time, as these tools are urgently needed in the mentioned areas.
He also called upon other organizations to follow the example set by TDCF Mwanza, praising its commitment to serving communities in both times of celebration and need.
