Deep Well No. 932 Handed Over at Mjimwema Ward, Kigamboni
On Saturday, 5 September 2026, Deep Well No. 932 was officially handed over at Mjimwema Ward in Kigamboni District, Dar es Salaam Region.
The well has been established to provide a reliable source of clean and safe water to a newly constructed sober house that will offer treatment and rehabilitation services to people affected by different forms of addiction, including alcohol and drug addiction.
In addition to supporting the sober house, the deep well will also benefit members of the surrounding community, improving access to safe water for their daily needs.
Deep Well No. 932 was generously donated by the Musa Family in loving memory of Marhum Alarakhya Kanani and Marhuma Nurbanubai Kanani, in coordination with the Nudba Group of Toronto.
The Desk and Chair Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the Musa Family and the Nudba Group of Toronto for their generous support and commitment to improving the health, dignity and well-being of communities through sustainable access to clean water.
