Well No. 926 Handed Over in Mbarali District, Mbeya Region

As part of a series of ten water wells successfully handed over in Mbeya Region, Well No. 926 has been officially commissioned to provide clean and safe drinking water to the residents of Lyabogolo (A) Sub-village, Ikanutwa Village, Igava Ward, Mbarali District.

The well was officially handed over on 22 July 2026 and was generously donated in loving memory of the late Marhum Akberali Fidahussein Manji. This meaningful contribution serves as a lasting legacy, bringing hope, improved health, and reliable access to clean water for the community.

The well is expected to benefit 79 families and approximately 510 people every day, significantly reducing the burden of collecting water from unsafe and distant sources while improving sanitation and overall quality of life.

This handover forms part of a broader initiative that saw ten water wells completed and handed over across Mbeya Region, reaffirming a shared commitment to ensuring sustainable access to clean water for underserved communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the donor for this generous act of charity and pray that this lasting contribution continues to benefit generations to come.
