When tragedy strikes, such as death of a loved one, many
families are not able to bury them with the respect and
dignity they deserve. This is due to a simple inability
to afford the burial costs.
The burial costs mostly comprise the following materials:
Kafan (white cloth), gloves, camphor, soap, needle and
thread.
The Ghusl Khanna (Mortuary) is now completely build and
has already been used. This will be one of very few centers
in Mwanza town where the deceased can
be washed with dignity. Kafan (shroud) will also be
provided free of charge to the families, if needed.
